Iqbal Society

Muhammad Iqbal is among the few writers and poets of the subcontinent to have found fame and appreciation outside his own land. He wrote verse in Urdu and Persian, which has been translated into many languages. His philosophy, expressed through his poetry, and elegent English prose insipered a whole generation that was finding its way to independence and still goes on to inspire those who look for better and just future.

The Internet Iqbal Society is being launched with the following goals: 1) appericiation of the life, works and significane of the poet of the east, 2) to extend the translations of Iqbal’s work, 3) to encourage the researcher of history, philosophy, to study Iqbal as a poet, philosopher whoes work teaches a person to look inside for peace, comfort and to win the outer world.

The Internet Iqbal Society will be lauched very soon (within one month), these web pages are being uploaded to test and validate the structure of the website.
